METAL PART PHOSPHATING
WHAT IS PHOSPHATING?
Phosphating is a chemical conversion coating process in which a metal surface reacts with a phosphate solution, forming a uniform, adherent, and insoluble crystalline layer of metal phosphates. This coating is created through a controlled dissolution and precipitation reaction on the substrate, transforming the metal surface into a layer with chemical and structural properties distinct from those of the base material.
Zinc phosphating improves corrosion resistance and enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings such as paint, lubricants, or other protective finishes.
Manganese phosphating improves wear resistance, reduces friction, and promotes lubricant retention in mechanical components.
KEY BENEFITS
INDUSTRIAL CHEMICAL CLEANING
• Oxides
• Surface corrosion
• Organic and inorganic contaminants
Through the immersion of parts in specially formulated chemical treatment baths designed to restore the metal surface without affecting the critical dimensions of the component.
LABORATORY CAPABILITIES AND PROCESS CONTROL
CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND PROCESS CONTROL
PROCESS VALIDATION
AND SALT SPRAY TESTING
KEY BENEFITS
MOLYBDENUM DISULFIDE
Molybdenum disulfide coating is a treatment applied to metal surfaces that forms a solid lubricating film, reducing friction, improving wear resistance, and enabling components to operate under demanding conditions without the need for constant lubrication.
